Uses: Bark crushed and tied in a cloth and applied like a fomentation to heal sprains. Also used for brewing alcohol. Ripe fruits eaten by birds and squirrels. Bees forage on flowers. Children use seeds as pellets to be fired from a bamboo pipe.
