Management Practices: (Other) Kurumbas believes that there are two varieties of this plant, one called Raang Seengai and the Erang Seengai. The later is not touched as it has ability to scare people away. According to Kurumbas tradition, the Crow Pheasant is the only bird that builds its nest in this plant and if they need any part of the plant they have to ask the bird to bring it to them.
