| Product Description: | Reaches a height of 40-45m and a diameter of 160-180 centimeters. The bole is straight, regular, and reaches a length of 28-32 meters. The bark is 5-8mm thick, light brown to gray in color, scaling in large patches, and covered with numerous corky pustules. The inner bark is brown to reddish brown and stringy in texture. The young stems and the midrib and secondary nerves of the leaves are covered with long hairs. The leaves are alternate, leathery, pointed at the tip, rounded at the base, 10-23cm long, 6-13cm wide. The flowers are about 4cm long, white, tinged with pink, and very fragrant. The fruit is rounded, about 1.5cm in diameter and bear 2 long wings which are about 12cm in length and 2 or 3cm in breadth. The wood is moderately hard, stiff, and strong the heartwood is light ashy red to reddish brown or dark brown |
