Product Description: A small tree or shrub. The bark is dark brown. The tree rarely exceeds 8m in height and is usually much smaller. The leaves are alternate, leathery, smooth, rounded and notched at the apex, somewhat pointed at the base, usually from 4-10cm in length, and 2.5-6cm wide; the midrib is slender; the petioles are usually about a centimeter or less in length. The flowers are fragrant and borne in rounded clusters, the bases of the stalks all rising from nearly the same point. The fruit is shaped like a miniature banana except that it length and ends in sharp point. It is up to 7cm in length and contains a single, elongated seed which fills the cavity of the fruit
