| Product Description: | A medium sized deciduous tree. Flower: In axillary racemes or fascicles, pinkish white. Fruit: A pod, obliquely oblong, woody, compressed, curved at apex. Seed one, reniform Bark thick, greyish brown, tubercled. Two kinds of galls are present one each on the leaf and on the inflorescence. Leaves glossy above. New foliage February-March. Barking deer and monkeys eat young s hoots. Bee forage on flowers. |
