| Product Description: | A perennial herb up to 1.5m high with cylindrical glabrous stem, sheaths long ciliate, hairs up to 1.2cm long. Leaves alternate, sessile, linear-lanceolate, 7.3-13 x 1-1.6cm, tapering at both ends, apex acuminate, base acute, hairy on the nerves above, sparsely on the nerves beneath; secondary nerves up to 14 pairs, looping. Flowers white or pinkish, in spiked panicles; peduncles glabrous or hairy; bracts ciliate at the margin. Nut 3-angled. black or brown-black. |
