The leaves are alternate and compound with 3 leaflets which are pointed at the tip, rounded or pointed at the base, coarsely toothed, and from 7-20cm in length. The flowers are small, pale yellow, and occur on rounded clusters. The fruits are round, fleshly and about a centimeter in diameter.
