Parts Used: flowers  roots  seeds  shoots 
Uses: Flower rolled in a leaf of Mallotus philippensis and smoked like a beedi for relief from asthma  Root good medicine for hangovers.   Seeds germinate profusely. Seeds crushed, mixed with oil and applied on wounds  Shoots crushed to prepare a medicine to cure mumps
