| Product Description: | A tree reaching a height of about 12m and a diameter of about 25 centimeters. The leaves are somewhat crowded at the ends of the branches, hairy beneath, rounded are somewhat pointed at the tip, usually pointed at the base, and from 10-20cm in length. The flowers are whitish, 2-2.5cm long, and borne on compound inflorescences which are usually longer than the leaves. The fruit resembles the cashew in form, but is smaller. The drupe is ovoid, oblique, a centimeter long and borne on a fleshy, purple receptacle, which is about as long as the drupe. |
