Product Description: An erect annual, up to 2m high, glabrous, with stems and branches strongly ridged. Leaves lanceolate-oblong to narrowly linear, 10 x 3cm, sometimes bigger, distant, base usually cuneate; secondary nerves slender, 5-7 pairs. Flowers in dense, terminal spikes, silver to pink, conical at first and later cylindrical. Bracts and bracteoles persistent. Tepals narrowly elliptic-oblong, very scarious. Filaments delicate, anthers and filaments magenta to cream-colorred. Utricle ovoid to globose. Seeds lenticular, reticulate.
