| Product Description: | Habit: clustering rattan; 15 (-70) m long. Leaf sheath: 1.5cm diameter; green with black cuticle. Sheath spines: sparse spines; 0.1-0.2 cm long; base cone-shaped, green; spine dark brown. Knee: conspicuous; keel-shaped; green; spines in sparse rows in rib. Ocrea: 0.2-0.4cm long; grey; spine absent. Climbing organ: flagellum 1.5-3m long. Leave: petiole 15cm long; not channelled; rachis 75-84cm long; apex divided at base. Leaflets regularly arranged 3-4cm apart, leaflet of middle rachis 35-36.5 x 1.5-1.7cm; base broadly cuneate; margin sparsely bristled; apex narrowly acuminate; veins 3; prominent, sparsely bristled. Cane 1-2.3cm diameter; internodes 12-30cm long; durable and flexible. |
